Digital Uplift

Helping Tasmanians build the digital confidence to connect, learn and work.

Delivered by Regional Development Australia (RDA) Tasmania in partnership with Telstra, Digital Uplift is a community led program supporting people across Tasmania to build practical digital skills for everyday life, work and learning.

From getting online and using digital tools, to accessing essential services and building financial confidence, the program is designed to help people feel more capable and connected in their use of technology.

The program will be delivered through Tasmania’s Regional Jobs Hubs Network and co-designed with local communities, making sure workshops and resources reflect the needs of all Tasmanians; offering practical support in collaboration with trusted community organisations.

“Digital exclusion affects individuals and the wider economy. This partnership with Telstra will help Tasmanians build the essential digital skills that support job readiness, financial resilience and stronger community connection. It’s an investment in people, participation and productivity, and importantly in Tasmania’s future.”
